(WXYZ) — The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Jan. 17 to discuss a "personnel action."
The agenda is rumored to be about the future of Interim President John Engler amid controversy.
Engler recently told the Detroit News editorial board that Nassar survivors are enjoying "being in the spotlight."
After the announcement of the board meeting, Trustee Brian Mosallam tweeted, "Engler's reign of terror is over."

But at least one trustee, Joel Ferguson, is trying to fight a vote on Engler's future from happening.
"There won't be a meeting tomorrow," he said today by phone. He declined to elaborate.
