With oxygen tubes in his nose and pulling an oxygen tank, 45-year-old Gregory Walker appeared in front of a judge in Toledo Friday afternoon on a probation violation out of Wayne County.

Instead of fighting extradition, Walker agreed to return to Michigan where he's expected to soon be charged in the kidnapping and murder of 13-year-old Deontae Mitchell.

Mitchell was found in a field near Harper and Baldwin on Detroit's east side, two days after he was seen on surveillance video being kidnapped.

Detroit Police say Walker and others kidnapped the teen because Walker dropped some money while urinating on the side of a party store and the teens took the money.

While the medical examiner has not officially ruled on a cause of death, sources believe Mitchell was strangled.

Walker's girlfriend, Lillian Roberts, was also arrested at a Toledo hotel. She waived extradition and has already been returned to Michigan. Roberts is currently being held at the Detroit Detention Center.

Roberts' stepson, Ernest Coleman, was charged with kidnapping over the weekend. Right now, he's the only one charged in connection with the abduction of Deontae Mitchell.

Roberts' uncle, 51-year-old Roy Portis, was arrested last week. Detroit Police say he's been questioned and released.

Now that Walker has waived extradition, Detroit Police expected to pick him up from Ohio Monday.

It's unclear if Walker will appear in a Wayne County courtroom on the probation violation case or new charges connected to the abduction and murder of 13-year-old Mitchell.

Currently, Walker and Roberts are not charged in Mitchell's case.
