We may all think we have good pumpkin carving skills, but in reality we're mere mortals compared to NASA engineers.
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California held a pumpkin carving contest before Halloween this year. The JPL recently published a gallery of goodies from this year's contest on its Facebook page.
And let's just say, the entries are out of this world.
Among the contenders, a pumpkin containing candy in the form of Mars samples, a pumpkin swing that looks like something you'd see at an amusement park, and even a model of Juno orbiting Jupiter.
Aaron Yazzie tweeted some gems from the competition with the hashtag #NASAPumpkin.
