Michigan State Police troopers are teaming up with the Drug Enforcement Agency and other law enforcement agencies to get prescription pills off the streets.

It's part of the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this weekend.

It's happening at hundreds of locations across the country -- including state police posts here in Michigan. This gives people a spot to dispose of unwanted and unused prescriptions in the hopes of curbing drug abuse.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

If you can't make it at that time, you can always drop off unwanted prescriptions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at any MSP post.
