Established in 2006, National Puppy Day gives 50 different ways you can celebrate on their website. Some of those ways include:
- Adopt a puppy from your local shelter, rescue or pure breed rescue organization
- Donate money, food and toys to your local shelter
- Write your Congressman and ask that he/she support the ban on puppy mills in your state
- Have a puppy party and invite all your friends and their puppies
- Buy your puppy a fun, new toy
