Plenty of people have been “catfished,” but not exactly like this.

Lisa Lobree said she was walking in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park earlier this week when a catfish fell from the sky, whacking her in the head, according to KYW-TV.

It happened when Lobree was outside walking with her friend and heard a rustling in the trees above, she said – moments later, something strange happened.

Something fell, hitting her in the head.

“I think it might have been head, face and neck because I smelled so bad afterwards. I smelled disgusting,” she told KYW-TV.

Upon further inspection, the pair discovered the catfish was over a foot long. The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that it was about five pounds.

But where exactly did the flying fish come from? Witnesses said they saw a bird, possibly a hawk or eagle carrying a fish, flying away from the scene.

Lobree suffered some swelling and a small cut to her face, but was otherwise fine. Realizing that things could have been much worse, she now finds the entire incident humorous.

"It could have been so much worse," she told the Inquirer. "What if it hit a child? It was a not a fun experience, but there are so many worse things that could've happened. It's probably one of the strangest things that have happened to me in my life."
