(WXYZ) — The Children's Place has recalled nearly 15,000 infant snowsuits due to a choking hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The company says the metal snaps on the snowsuit can detach, causing the potential choking hazard.

The girls' infant suits in sizes 0 to 18 months were sold at The Children's Place stores and online from August 2018 to November 2018 for about $50.

Parents should stop using the snowsuit and return the item to any The Children's Place location for a full refund.

Consumers with questions or concerns can the store at (877) 752-2387.
