WYANDOTTE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Who's ready to strike a pose with the pups?

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is putting a new spin on yoga by offering its first dog yoga classed called Doga.

Grab your yoga mat, water and maybe a few treats and make your way to the hospital on Biddle Avenue at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10.

The hospital says the dogs are from their Pet Therapy program and will mix and mingle with participants during the hour-long class.

"You can't help but notice the cheer these dogs bring as they walk down the hallway or into a patient's room,” said Tina Strait, HFWH volunteer services coordinator. “They can uplift someone's spirit and bring optimism to those who are experiencing difficult times.”

Classes are free to attend. You can register online or call (734) 246-6057.
