(WXYZ) — New posters have been released ahead of the premier of the live-action "The Lion King."
The posters, both powerful and simple, show the real-life artists mirroring their on-screen characters.
Featured are Donald Glover, who plays a Simba and Beyonce, who plays Nala, along with a host of other stars who will bring to life a Disney favorite.
Director Jon Favreau also shared the images on his Facebook page Tuesday.
The star-studded list of actors also includes, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Elchner as Timon, John Olicer as Zazu, Keegan Michael Key as Kamari, Aric Andre as Azizi, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, John Kani as Rafiki, Florence Kasumba as Shenzi, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, JD McCray as a young Simba, Shahadi Wright Joseph as a young Nala, and original cast member James Earl Jones as Mufasa.
The film releases in theaters July 18.
