FLAT ROCK, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 69-year-old man died in a fire in the area of Arsenal Road and Matilda, west of Telegraph, in Flat Rock.
Officials say firefighters arrived at the scene Tuesday and the residence was fully engulfed in flames.
During the course of extinguishing the fire, the fire department discovered the remains of the deceased man.
Officials say the fire appears to have been accidental.
