(WXYZ) - It was just 2 and a half weeks ago that a high school junior made history at Ford Field in Detroit.
Olivia Viney became the first girl to score points in a high school football state championship game.
She made seven extra points in Marine City High School's win over Grand Rapids South Christian in the division four state championship game.
The 5'-2" kicker has played soccer since she was 4 years old, but this year was her first playing football.
And her solid performance all season helped get her team to the finals at Ford Field.
