Seventy years after their service, a group of women who helped win World War II are being recognized.

Action news was there as a group of the original Rosie the Riveters reunited after their work to build war planes.

Thirty women, all in their 80s and 90s, flew to Washington, D.C. for their Honor Flight. These women were famous for their "We Can Do It" attitude filling in at assembly lines and factory jobs while men were overseas.

"I was a major inspector --we had to read the blue prints and then we inspected the parts that went into the motor," said Betty Pazdro.

The women will get a tour of the National World War II Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery followed by lunch with members of Congress.
