Detroit Police are still searching for the suspect responsible in the Fourth of July block party shooting that happened on the city's east side.

Three people were reportedly injured when an unknown suspect opened fire just after midnight on Wilshire and Davison, officers say.

A 17-year-old black male was shot in the back, an 18-year-old black male was shot in the leg and a 27-year-black male was shot in the arm. All three victims were hospitalized at the time and survived the attack.

Another partygoer broke his ankle trying to run away from the shooting.

Police have a limited description of the suspect: Black male with a low hair cut, 5-feet 7-inches, seen at the party wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts and walking with an AK-47.

Friends of one victim say he is still fighting to recover from his injuries sustained during the shooting. They want justice for their friend.
