On Thursday, the owner of a performing arts studio where he once worked was in court for his preliminary hearing. He's accused of having sex with his students.
A now 21-year-old man took the stand during the hearing. He told the court he was once a student at Kaleidoscope Studio for the Performing Arts in Clawson, and says Keen was his music theater coach.
"He came up and touched me," said the alleged victim. "I was sitting on a stool and he came up and touched my thigh, my mid-thigh area."
Originally, 59-year-old Christopher Keen was charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct. Now he faces four more counts, bringing the total to six counts against him.
At the time Keen was indicted, Clawson police told 7 Action News there could be more victims.
Police said Keen used his authoritative position to take advantage of his students, advising them not to tell anybody because his life would be over and that he loved them.
Prosecutors asked for an additional $250,000 bond on the new charges and a GPS tether. The judge denied that request.
The judge found there is enough evidence to go to trial.
