PINCKNEY, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Pinckney St. Patrick's Day Parade and 5K run have both been canceled amid the coronavirus outbreak.
On Thursday, the police department announced that the Pinckney St Patrick's Day Parade and the "Run for the Gold" 5k Run would continue as planned.
But after much consideration, the Village of Pinckney decided to cancel this Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the "Run for the Gold” 5K run due to the COVID-19 virus.
