Uber wants to give you an opportunity to shine during a 10 minute drive around the block.
The company’s local team is bringing UberPITCH to Detroit for the first time on Wednesday, according to a spokesperson from Uber.
Local entrepreneurs who want to participate will get picked up by an Uber car carrying a top investor from the area ready to hear pitches and offer insight.
People who are interested in pitching just have to enter the promo code "PITCHDET" in the app. Then, on May 4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., they’ll be able to request a ride from within a special UberPITCH zone.

The company notes that all UberPITCH rides will be free.
Participating investors include representatives from Techstars, Detroit Venture Partners, Invest Detroit, IncWell and the Henry Ford Innovation Institute.
