DETROIT (WXYZ) — Two men were arrested in connection with a dumping incident involving a church on Detroit's west side.

Surveillance video showed two men in a U-Haul truck driving into an alley behind the Christ Reform Baptist Church at Joy Road. The men stopped and got out of the truck. In the video, the men can be seen pulling out a lot of junk, including a number of old pieces of furniture, two broken sewing machines and a number of paint cans.

Pastor Brown, who has been with the church for 39 years, said he was "disappointed and hurt."

"Please don't do this. We work so hard to keep the city clean," he said. "This make it more difficult and harder for us."

The men have been identified as 20-year-old Brandon Novak of Sterling Heights and 20-year-old Joseph Journeau of Warren. Both were charged with littering.
