DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) — Dearborn police are asking for the public's help identifying skeletal remains that were found last month, and they believe a photo of an image could help.

According to police, CSX Transportation notified them on April 23 that possible human remains were found near Michigan Ave. and Miller Rd. Officers searched the area and found the human remains.

Right now, they don't believe foul play is involved, but they haven't been able to identify the man.

They say he appeared to be an older white male, wearing tan pants, a tan Carhartt-style jacket and an orange knit cap. He was also wearing a brown boot on one foot and a yellow rain boot on the other, and investigators believe he may be homeless.

Police say the man was also wearing a shirt that had a distinct image of a small dark-haired child positioned near a high-wheel bicycle on the front. A similar image can be seen above.

Anyone who may recognize this image is asked to come forward with any identification.
