Erie Township Police are investigating an armed home invasion that happened Wednesday night.
Police say four armed and masked gunmen kicked in the front door of a home located on Vienna Road near Bay Creek around 11:45 p.m.
The men demanded the couple to get on the floor. One wheelchair-bound resident was thrown to the floor.
According to police, the suspects told the residents: "This is a robbery, don't make it a homicide."
The gunmen made off with nearly $1,000 in cash, a purse, eight ounces of marijuana and the home's security system recorder.
Police say one resident did have a valid Michigan medical marijuana card.
