We are following developing news out of Woodhaven High School.  A teacher has been kicked out of the school for now, as police investigate sexual allegations from two of her students.

A teen told a school social worker that his teacher had been sexting him and his friend. School workers spoke to both teens. One said that the 36-year-old teacher inappropriately touched him.

The school then sent notice of the allegations to both CPS and because Woodhaven High is in Brownstown Township, Brownstown Township Police.

Deputy Police Chief Robert Matthews says right now police are reviewing a report filed by the school on Friday, gathering evidence, and reaching out to the alleged victims to give statements.

The student allegedly told the school social worker that the inappropriate relationship started at the beginning of the school year and escalated.

The Superintendent of Woodhaven Schools says the teacher is on leave as police investigate.

The teacher is not yet facing any charges, but that could change.
