NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Novi Police Chief tells 7 Action News they are investigating a death after a body was found behind a home.
The body of a 29-year-old man from Novi was found on 13 Mile near Novi Road. Witnesses tell 7 Action News police were on scene as early as 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Detectives did not observe any sign of trauma to the body.
Chief David Molloy says, at this time, it does not look like a case of foul play, but says all death investigations are treated as potential homicides.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
