PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect who struck a 12-year-old boy on a bike.
Christian Castle was hit Monday in Pontiac in the area of Garner and Baldwin and remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say after being hit, he landed on the windshield and got hooked on the hood of the car. Investigators say the driver swerved to get him off and then drove away.
The driver was in a white 1996 Ford Econoline Van that was later found abandoned on Pingree Street.
Family members have started a GoFundMe page to collect donations for Christian's medical expenses.
