Missing Wayne State student located, police say

DETROIT (WXYZ) — UPDATE: 8:07 p.m., Wayne State police say Jayla Jackson, missing Wayne State student, has been located.

The Wayne State University Police Department are looking for the public's help in locating a missing student who was last seen at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Jayla Jackson was seen walking northbound through the tunnel between the Towers Residential structures near Wayne State campus. She was wearing a brown scarf on her head.

Police describe Jackson as an African-American female with dark haird brown eyes. She's 5 feet, 3 inches tall and is medium build and in her early 20s.
