A 36-year-old man was punched in the face and carjacked on Detroit's west side on Friday, police say.
Around 10 p.m., the victim was driving in the area of Grand River Avenue and MLK Boulevard when his car was sideswiped by the suspect vehicle.
The victim stopped and got out of his car and talked with one of the suspects. The suspect then punched the victim in the face. Four other suspects took the victim's keys and drove off.
Police describe the victim's vehicle as a white 2007 four-door Dodge Charger. The suspect vehicle is described as a white Chevrolet Suburban or Yukon.
