Police: Man shot by stray bullet fired during altercation

DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 57-year-old man was shot by a bullet that police believe wasn't intended for him as he stood inside a store on Detroit's west side.

The shooting happened Feb.16 around midnight in the 14900 block of Greenfield. Police say the victim was inside a store when he heard gunshots and suddenly felt pain. Investigators believe the shots may have come from the parking lot where two men were seen having an altercation.
