Police: Missing 11-year-old Ypsilanti boy found

YPSILANTI, Mich. (WXYZ) — UPDATE: 11-year-old Darious has been located, according to police. He is now in his father's custody.

Ypsilanti police have issued an endangered missing advisory for 11-year-old Darious Dawayne Ross.

Darious was last seen Aug. 9 around 6 p.m. on the 200 block of West Michigan Ave in Ypsilanti. Police say the boy called his dad around this time and was told to be home around 7 p.m.

The boy's father told police Darious never returned home. His father checked the area for Darious but could not find him.

Police describe the 11-year-old as 5-feet 4-inches tall, about 90 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and white T-shirt, blue gym shorts and black and white shoes.
