Michigan State Police executed a search warrant at an industrial building located at 1800 Austin in Troy.

Officers could be seen dragging out a massive amount of what appeared to be marijuana.

7 Action News crews on the scene said they could smell the evidence, although police are not yet confirming that is in fact marijuana.

A truck was called in to haul away the plants.

The owner of the building says he rents it out to a tenant.

The owner of the building had no suspicions of any illegal activity. People who work in nearby buildings also said they saw no suspicious activity.

The sign on the outside of the building bears the name of a business that no longer is affiliated with this building.

Police would not comment on the details of the investigation.
