DETROIT (WXYZ) — UPDATE: Karay Farries has been found, according to Detroit Police.

------------------------

Police are searching for a 15-year-old student last seen at a school bus stop in Detroit Friday morning.

Karay Farries was last seen by his mother on March 8 around 7:45 a.m., police say. She dropped Karay off at his bus stop on Van Dyke and Mack so he could be on his way to school.

When the mother arrived to pick up her son from school, Karay never came to the car, she told police. She asked if anyone had seen the 15-year-old, but no one did.

This is the first time Karay has gone missing, the mother told police.

Karay was last seen wearing black dress pants, a long-sleeved white polo short, green coat with fur around the hood, gray Nikes shoes and carrying a blue and black duffle bag.

He is in good physical and mental condition, according to police.

If you have seen Karay Farries or know where he could be, contact police at (313) 596-5700 or Crime Stoppers at (800) SPEAK-UP.
