Police searching for man who groped woman in metro Detroit parking lot

Southfield police are searching for a man they say groped a woman in the parking lot of an office complex earlier this week.

Police say the 25-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot of 1 Towne Square located on the Northwestern Service Drive when she was approached by a man who asked her if she wanted to make some money and told her she was pretty.

The woman reportedly began to walk hurriedly away from the man and that's when he reached up her dress and grabbed her butt. 

Police say she was able to get away from and call 911.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, about 5'6" with a medium build and short hair. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing glasses, a gray sweatshirt, and blue pants.

He was reportedly driving a white Cadillac.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call police.
