HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — UPDATE: The incident is over, and the roadway has reopened, according to the Huron Township Police dispatcher.

Police are asking people to stay away from a section of Huron Township as they deal with a situation.
Officers say they were called to the area of Huron River Drive and Steadman Road around 6:00 p.m.. They are asking people in the area, which near the Willow Metropark, to stay in their homes.
Huron River Drive is shut down between King Road and West Road.
Police are not releasing any other information about the situation.
