Detroit police are looking for a man they say fired shots early Saturday morning on Detroit's west side. It's unclear if officers were targeted.

Police say a man fired shots into a home at Clairmount near Joy Road where a 90-year-old woman lives, just before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Those shots continued after police arrived on scene, but the gunman is still at large, which sparked a manhunt by both local and state agencies.

The elderly woman was not injured. Officers spent 16 hours on the scene trying to determine who did the shooting. Neighbors say they believe the suspect may be the same person who fired shots at the same location before.
