The mystery surrounding a double murder at a metro Detroit business continues to grow.

Two men were found murdered at Laith’s Candy Land, a candy import business in Sterling Heights, within just a couple of days.

The business located off Mound Rd. is in an industrial park, last Tuesday, 51 year-old Sufian Saba was found shot to death inside.

On Saturday, a second man was found murdered.  Sterling Heights have not yet released his identity.

Other business owners in the industrial park said they didn’t even know the business existed.

"We've been here for 7 years and I thought that building was vacant, we've never seen any activity in there this whole time,” said Troy Gillette, a nearby business owner.

Sterling Heights police want to assure others in the area they have nothing to fear.

"We don't believe this was a random act of violence, no one walked in from the street to commit these crimes, we feel comfortable saying they were targeted,” said Chief Dale Dwojakowski with the Sterling Heights Police Department.

Police have gone over surveillance video from nearby businesses but they haven’t come up with anything.

"We have a lot of people working around the clock to come up with leads on this case to solve it,” said Dwojakowski.
