Police warn of possible stranger danger incident in Farmington Hills

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Farmington Hills Police Department is warning of a stranger danger incident that occurred on Monday, Oct. 14.

The incident occurred in the area of Park Hill and Orchard Lake road, in a subdivision located between 12 Mile and 13 Mile.

Police say that two children were walking home together from the bus stop when a man driving a vehicle stopped near them, exited his vehicle and began taking pictures of them with his cellphone. The children ran home and the man drove away. He did not follow or make contact with them, police say.

The driver is described by police as a man in his 40s with a large scar on the side of his face, near his right eye.

Officers are conducted increased patrols in the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact Farmington Hills PD at 248-871-2610.
