A woman has been hospitalized after being hit by a train in South Lyon Thursday afternoon.
The South Lyon Fire Department responded to the pedestrian hit call around 1:15 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the woman unconscious but breathing on the tracks with serious bodily trauma.
The unidentified woman was taken to Providence Park Hospital in Novi and has been listed in critical condition.
Police are still investigating the incident.
