WXYZ Detroit - On Monday, members of Congress will return to Washington from their summer recess. Waiting for them will be a controversial debate and an important vote.
President Barack Obama has asked Congress to authorize his call for a military strike against Syria for their apparent use of chemical weapons. Harrison Township Congresswoman Candice Miller, a key member of the Michigan delegation, does not favor military action at this time but hopes the President follows whatever direction he receives from Capitol Hill. In a recent interview for Spotlight on the News, Miller discussed the options currently before the Congress. You can see her entire interview this Sunday at 9:30 on Spotlight.
