Pontiac woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend during argument

PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 30-year-old Pontiac woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived to the 300 block of Baldwin Road. The 33-year-old victim told deputies that he had just been stabbed by his girlfriend after they had an argument. He also told deputies that she left in his black Cadillac sedan.

Deputies found a Michigan ID card with the suspect's name and picture on it inside the home. The victim told police that his girlfriend was probably headed to the North Hill Farms Townhouses. Deputies drove over and began looking for the suspect and the suspect vehicle.

The vehicle was located in front of 82 Candlelight Lane. Police say there was fresh blood smeared on the exterior and they saw fresh footprints in the snow leading away from the vehicle.

The suspect was found in the home and initially refused to exit the residence. Deputies then made entry into the home and she wastaken into custody.

Police say while searching the vehicle, a long knife with fresh blood on it was found.

The victim is in stable condition.
