The jackpot is rising, making it harder to resist buying a ticket for Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
The new $450 million jackpot is the second largest Powerball jackpot in the last 12 months, according to Michigan Lottery.
Lottery officials say if a Michigan player wins, it would be the largest Powerball prize won in the state.
