CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A pregnant woman and her baby are in stable condition after she was shot in Clinton Township.
Police say she was shot in the abdomen while she was walking to her car.
The shooting occurred at the Eastwood Village Apartments off of 16 Mile and Harper Avenue. Police are looking for the shooter.
The apartment complex released the following statement about the incident:
“We were saddened to hear about this tragic incident earlier this morning. Our number one priority is the safety and security of our residents. We are not able to comment on any pending investigation and are cooperating fully with the police in their efforts. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family and friends during this very difficult time.”
