We've learned he will speak at the American Center for Mobility.

He was last in the state on Dec. 9 when he visited Grand Rapids as part of the thank you tour to states that he won. Trump won Michigan by just 10,704 votes.

Since Trump has taken office, he has touted the auto industry, even meeting with the leaders of the Big 3 automakers just days after taking office.

It was the first time the leaders of the Big 3 met at the White House together since July 2011.

“We’re bringing manufacturing back to the United States big league,” Trump said following the meeting. “We’re reducing taxes very substantially, and we’re reducing unnecessary regulations.”Ford CEO Mark Fields said, "I think as an industry, we’re excited about working together with the president and his administration on tax policies, on regulation and on trade to create a renaissance on American manufacturing."

GM’s Mary Barra expressed optimism after meeting with the president, saying, “We can improve the environment, improve safety and improve the jobs creation and competitive manufacturing.”
