Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith completed one of the ultimate troll jobs during a show on the campus of Ohio State on Sunday night.

Smith, who grew up in Bloomfield Hills and graduated from Lahser High School, is a University of Michigan fan  sang "The Victors" to the predominately Buckeyes crowd. It happened after the show was over and the crowd was not pleased.

He also sported the block "M" on his bass drum throughout the entire show at the Scottenstein Center, home of Ohio State basketball and hockey.

Oh, no! Chad Smith, you a bad dude! HA!

Smith is an avid Wolverines fan, calling the helmet "the coolest" in a 2012 interview with ESPN. "I just thought the helmet itself, the color and the way the stripes, it looks badass."

Also in 2012, Smith brought former Detroit Red Wings defenseman Nick Lidstrom on stage at Joe Louis Arena. (The video below does use graphic language)
