A mini blight buster is taking a stand against illegal dumpers.

In most ways, Nathaniel Bolin is a typical 10-year-old boy.  He likes to ride his bike and play with his friends.  What he doesn’t like?  Illegal dumpers.  “It’s not good for the community.  What if someone did that to you.” said Bolin.

One day, while playing in the park, Nathaniel and his friends saw some guys dumping. He yelled at them to stop, but they ignored him.

Nathaniel didn’t think what they did was very nice. He knows how big of a problem illegal dumping can be for those who live near by, because someone has been dumping in the vacant lot next to his grandmother’s house. “My grandma is up in age, so why do you do that?” said the boy.  “She can’t clean it up.”

Frustrated he decided to reach out to his internet hero, Jonathan Pommerville.

Pommerville has a following on his YouTube page, Fochnut. The longtime Detroit resident confronts illegal dumpers and others doing wrong on camera, and posts the video online. Nathaniel was excited when Pommerville responded.

The 10-year-old wants people to know, you are never too young to get involved and he says illegal dumpers should be ashamed for doing wrong.
