David and Calvin Pruden are enjoying their summer, but ready and eager to hit the books at the prestigious Oxford University in England.

The Detroit brothers recently got the good news that they'd been accepted to a 2-week summer study program where David can do a deep dive into international law, and Calvin can do the same for his passion with economics.

They'll both receive high school credit for it.

David wants to be a lawyer, and Calvin wants to go into business. Both have a thirst for learning.

"Education is one of the largest roles that can benefit someone's life," says 18-year-old David.

Calvin says, "An education helps you go farther in life, I would say."

As excited as they are about the opportunity, the trip isn't a done deal yet. They are trying to raise $12,000 to make it happen.

They say the money would cover things like tuition and food.

The teens are the oldest of 6 kids. They were homeschooled for ten years. Last year, they started attending Bloomfield Catholic School.

Their parents are incredibly proud of their achievements and encourage them to follow their dreams.

"For them to accept them is just incredible. For me, it's just an additional feather in the cap," says their father, Ptolemy Pruden.

If you'd like to help David & Calvin fulfill their dream of attending this summer program, you can donate to their GoFundMe page.
