"Move here. Move the world." Those are the words backing Detroit’s beefed up pitch to lure in Amazon.

Detroit has submitted its final plan to the tech giant.

But an effort to edge out competition, it won’t be releasing the specific details.

Detroit is, however, campaigning hard in a very public way -- releasing a new video and website showcasing the city’s come-back story.

Amazon says it plans to invest more than 5 billion dollars into its future host city and hire 50 thousand people.

Mayor Mike Duggan wasted no time from the outset, tapping Quicken Loans chairman Dan Gilbert to lead the charge.

Some sites floated as possible headquarters include the Detroit train station, the Old Compuware building, the Detroit city airport, and Northland mall.

The decision on the location for Amazon 2.0 isn't expected until some time in 2018.
