A 34-year old Detroit man accused of stabbing a DDOT bus driver earlier this week, was in court this afternoon.

Willie Lindsey heard the charges against him during his hearing.

He's the man accused of going after a DDOT bus driver Tuesday night near a gas station on the west side, after that driver tried keeping the wanted suspect off the bus.

7 Action News exclusively talked to 51-year-old Ricky Rivers Wednesday. He’s the driver who was attacked.

Witnesses told investigators Lindsey has been punching women, when he was shot in the foot.

Sources say he then stabbed a woman in the neck, before trying to get away on the bus.

They say he broke through the doors, stabbing Rivers in the face, before those on the bus held him down.
