Detroit Police hold news conference to address violence in Detroit

DETROIT (WXYZ) - It was a violent night in the city of Detroit on Wednesday. Detroit Police  tell 7 Action News there were 13 people shot in six separate incidents.

Police held a news briefing regarding the violence.

In just one incident alone, five people were shot after a verbal altercation between two families.

A 24-year-old man reportedly opened fire. A 60-year woman was killed, and 4 others were shot, including a 15-year-old girl.

It all started after an argument between two families whose children were playing together.

Police do not have any suspects in custody and are asking for the public's help in identifying possible suspects.
