Police have four people in custody after someone opened fire on officers on Detroit's west side.

None of the officers were hit or injured.

Police says it began as a traffic stop in the area of the Lodge and Puritan when one of the occupants of the vehicle got out and opened fire.

Police say two officers from the 12th Precinct saw a vehicle traveling faster than the speed limit disregard a Yield sign. The officers stopped the vehicle.
