The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest who may have information pertaining to the death of the co-owner of Water Station on Goldengate St. and Woodward.

29-year-old Devin Lewis, one of three owners of Water Station, was taking out the trash when he was stopped by two robbers.

All three owners were closing up for the night when the masked suspects approached.

Police say the suspects accosted them, took the cash register inside and forced them all outside making them empty their pockets.

That's when they opened fire, killing Lewis; a bullet grazed the arm of one of the other owners, police say.

Investigators are asking if anyone recognizes this individual or knows of his whereabouts.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detroit Police's Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
