A home rental company turned to 7 Action News reporter Ronnie Dahl when they ran into issues getting stolen vehicles removed from their rental home properties.

Rondo Investments owns and manages around one thousand properties in the Metro Detroit area. Recently, while inspecting a few of their properties, employees came across abandoned vehicles on the property.

Getting rid of them wasn’t so easy. Office employees say they reported the suspected stolen vehicles to the cops, but were told since the vehicles were on private property, nothing could be done.

Employees then attempted to have them towed away, but since they were suspected of being stolen, tow companies declined to removed them.

7 Action News reached out to Detroit Police and Friday afternoon, tow trucks arrived to haul the vehicles to the impound lot.
