A new rooftop sign will be lifted by helicopter to the top of Greektown Casino-Hotel's 30-story high-rise hotel on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The sign will span the width of the hotel's rooftop.
Greektown Casino-Hotel's transition to JACK Detroit Casino-Hotel is set to be completed on May 1, 2018.
JACK Entertainment began installing the 1,500-unit exterior and interior signage package earlier this summer.
The following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:
- Monroe Ave., between Beaubien St. and Chrysler Fwy.
- St. Antoine St., between Lafayette St. and Madison St.
- Macomb St. between Chrysler Fwy. and St. Antoine St.
