Volunteers from Home Depot teamed up with the Veterans Foundation to honor some local heroes.
The updated the recreational area at the Hamilton Nursing Home on Detroit's east side. The update gave the veterans an outdoor space to enjoy.
The project is jut one of many planned for Home Depot's sixth annual Celebration of Service, running nationwide through Veterans Day.
